This elegant baby house is in the style of the late 17th/early 18th
centuries. Cabinets like this were made for wealthy women of the time and fitted
with rooms and tiny furniture, often by craftsmen who made full scale
The gorgeous walnut cabinet and parquet floor are by Gilbert Mena;
furnishings and interior decoration are by Nell Corkin. The tiny spaniels in a
basket are by Sylvia Mobley.
There is a glass window across the front. It is removable, and held in
place by the hinged top, which is secured by magnets.
